At COPENHAGEN RELOCATIONS, your needs are our priority. Your relocation support program is tailored to your individual and unique requirements. Through listening and asking questions, we aim to offer the most suitable program solution. Authorized services begin with an introduction that includes valuable market and country information, as well as a request for a call with the transferee.
CORE PROGRAMS
ORIENTATION TOUR
Orientation Tours are designed to provide an overview of the transferee’s new city, its neighborhoods, sample housing and living costs. Additionally, customer specific key locations are visited and questions are answered. Orientation tours are typically part of a preview trip for new hires, or an added feature to a complete relocation program.
HOME FINDING
Finding a place to call home is challenging in any country; this task is compounded when factoring in high living costs and a fast moving rental market. Additionally, landlords screen tenants before the property is offered. Copenhagen Relocations keeps your best interests at heart during this process. A thorough and independent home search is made using known, reliable real estate sources. Real estate commissions are paid directly to rental agents by landlords. Furthermore, we adhere to a strict Code of Conduct that disallows accepting commissions. Gleaned savings are passed through to you.
SETTLING IN
Professional Settling In support efficiently accelerates the administrative process for services like local registration, banking, internet connection, etc. These tasks are critical to functioning well in Denmark. Conveniently situated in the INTERNATIONAL HOUSE, Copenhagen Relocations’ clients and customers benefit from this locational advantage. Settling In services are typically handled in one business day and cover an array of tasks, from TV to Transportation and everything in between.
SCHOOLS & CHILD CARE
Finding the right school or daycare is an important part of adapting to your new living environment. If your family is adapting well to their new surroundings it is easier for you to focus on your new job in Denmark. Your consultant is able to advise on school availability, arrange visits and offer cost comparisons to assist you in matching your needs and requirements. Every effort is made to provide you with the correct information in order to choose the right school.
DEPARTURE PROGRAMS
Departure programs can be time consuming and often begin months before your actual moving date. Our Property Inspector has more than 30 years of experience and knows what ‘normal wear & tear’ is and what is allowed by law. His expertise saves our clients time, money and worry. Copenhagen Relocations is good at administrating the departure details involved at lease termination all the way through to securing the deposit. Key tasks include: Lease termination, renovation management, security deposit recovery– according to your needs.
OTHER SERVICES
In addition to core destination support services, Copenhagen Relocations offers other related mobility services: Spousal assistance, cross cultural training, coaching, household good removal and outbound mobility management, to name a few. Copenhagen Relocations is an innovative company – if you have a need, we will do our best to provide assistance or offer guidance, please ask.
TENANCY MANAGEMENT
Tenancy Management programs are designed to shoulder the stress of dealing with landlords and/or maintenance issue resolution. The client defines how much assistance is needed. Programs can be comprehensive in scope and include expense management, or they can be as simple as a help line.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Property Management is designed to care for a property during the landlord’s absence. Both Vacant and Occupied Property Management programs are comprehensive. They require an onsite consultation to ascertain relevant information on the property. Copenhagen Relocations has an experienced property inspector. He has hands-on experience having worked in the field of cleaning & maintenance for over 30 years.
HOTLINE SERVICE
Hotline programs are designed to help the transferee with issues that arise during the tenancy period. Programs vary in length and depth of service, and can be incorporated into a Tenancy Management program. They can be limited to calling during office hours or on a 24 hour basis. Reduced and preferred pricing is available when ordering long-term assistance.
VEHICLE / PET IMPORTATION
For both types of imports, Copenhagen Relocations recommends understanding the process comprehensively before deciding to bring your car or animal into Denmark. Importation is costly and involves many steps. Cars for example must be registered and adjusted to meet Danish regulation standards before they may be driven. Animals must have immunizations and special arrival precautions. Copenhagen Relocations explains the process and assists you with the formalities.
HOME PURCHASE / SALE
The key to buying the right home in Denmark is understanding how the process works. Copenhagen Relocations guides and advises you on all aspects of selecting a home to buy. Our inspector is good at sourcing homes and evaluating structural issues as well as re-sale probability.
PROPERTY INSPECTION
Lease contracts require an inspection report at both Move In and Move Out. Copenhagen Relocations can assist you with both a ‘Move In Inspection’ as well as a ‘Move Out Inspection’. Our Property Inspector has over 35 years of experience and knows what ‘normal wear and tear’ is. Well-documented reports which include photographs are critical in avoiding departure issues and we complete reports for signature on site.
RENOVATION MANAGEMENT
Danish lease contracts have requirements when vacating. Copenhagen Relocations helps you understand your obligations and oversees the renovation details from start to finish. We cooperate with excellent service/craftsmen that offer competitive pricing and guarantee their work. Copenhagen Relocations can manage this process on your behalf. Our Property Inspector appreciates fair play and with over 30 years in the business, his trouble shooting expertise is the best in town.
TEMPORARY HOUSING
Temporary Accommodation is a short term lease [under a year] for a furnished property. The market is limited and some providers require a company signature on the lease. These accommodations come with a fully equipped kitchen, basic living area furniture, basic bedroom furniture [may come without linens], plus cleaning equipment: vacuum cleaner, mop & iron. Temporary Accommodation is in short supply but high in demand in the country’s capital city of Copenhagen. Short term accommodation is lesser known in other areas of Denmark. This means that it tends to be more expensive. Cleaning & linen changing services are extra and are in addition to the rent.
SEMINARS
Copenhagen Relocations organizes cultural & relocation related seminars periodically or on special demand. ‘Welcome to Denmark’ is designed to give an overview of what is needed to ‘survive’ in Denmark. This seminar addresses culture shock, social do’s & don’ts, products to use, as well as other useful tools in this 4-6 hour seminar. It also includes a traditional Danish lunch. Our ‘Danish Holiday Traditions’ is designed to explain & discuss Danish Christmas traditions. This is a 2 hour seminar. Please feel free to request a new topic for a seminar.
